The following persons of an AHK member company can use this service:
- The minimum duration of membership with the AHK Türkiye must be at least 6 months.
- The applicant must have been registered with their company for social security purposes for at least one year.
- All employees registered with the Social Security Institution (SGK) who have been employed by our member company for at least one year.
Visa application
Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, all AHK members and their employees can submit their visa applications directly to the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul through our solution partner DEinternational Servis Hizmetleri A.Ş., regardless of the region in which they are registered. Therefore, individuals applying for a visa will not need to make an appointment at the consulate, attend a personal interview, or wait.

Biometric Data
In Türkiye, the "biometric application" has been in effect since September 25, 2014. If Turkish citizens are travelling to the Federal Republic of Germany, they must provide fingerprints in accordance with the applicable visa regulations.
The fingerprints are valid for 59 months.
Attention: Fingerprints taken for passport applications are not valid!
Our Mobile Fingerprinting Service
We have concluded a contract with the company iDATA, which offers your C-Level a mobile service for submitting your fingerprints. However, anyone who would like to use this service must contact us first.
Membership Certificate for Personal Applications
The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul has informed us that membership in our chamber will be viewed as a positive aspect and taken into consideration for visa applications. Therefore, we offer members who wish to handle their visa processes themselves a certificate confirming their membership in our chamber.

Procedure in The Event of a Rejection
As part of the pilot project with China, Morocco and Türkiye, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs suspended the submission of objections (complaints about the refusal of a visa application) for one year from 07.06.2023. The purpose of doing so is to gain additional capacity in visa application processing and to reduce waiting times. Therefore, only new applications can now be submitted for rejected applications.
Long Term Visa Applications
According to the German Consulate General, 6-month business visas belong to the long-term visa types. If you wish to apply for a visa with an even longer duration, then the fulfilment of the following criteria - according to the consulate - will have a positive effect on the application assessment. However, the consulate points out that fulfilment of the criteria is no guarantee that a long-term visa will be issued.
