Training programme for efficient energy technology and operational energy management

Background and objectives:
The energy markets are characterised by huge upheavals. Regional markets are converging, the energy mix is changing and the pressure of climate policy is increasing. Politicians are pushing to drastically reduce consumption. Have you already defined measures to counteract the restrictions and cost increases? The AHK Türkiye / DEinternational supports companies with the course ‘Qualification as European Energy Manager’ to optimally prepare for these changes. The trained ‘European Energy Managers’ have the necessary tools to implement efficient energy management in their own company and thus achieve cost savings and secure their locations.

Note: Applicants with several years of operational experience in the energy sector are preferred, this is not an introductory event for beginners!

Methodology | Procedure:
Application-orientated practical training with the following main elements:

Operational energy management with the tasks of data management, energy purchasing and trading as well as contractual and business management requirements
Efficiency technologies in the field of heat and electricity as well as typical industrial applications (compressed air, electric drives) and practice-relevant renewable energies
Energy consumption of buildings (building heat consumption, refurbishment, energy performance certificate) with a focus on non-residential buildings
Self-learning and application support through a closed community on the Internet
Short and concise theoretical input using comprehensible, standardised materials
Direct implementation through calculation exercises with energy data from the companies
Implementation support through practical tools: checklists, data entry forms, spreadsheet templates.
During the practical training, the optimisation of an energy-related weak point in the company is developed as project work - the opportunity for immediate cost savings!

Completion | Certificate:
After successful completion of the examination and project work, participants are awarded the ‘European Energy Manager’ certificate.

Europe-wide dissemination:
Become part of a European network of operational energy experts: EUREM is regularly organised in Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and other countries as a standard training course in energy management at the highest level. Cancellation conditions: Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the course. For cancellations up to 2 weeks before the start of the course, we must charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the fee. After this time or in the event of a no-show, the entire fee must be paid. We will of course accept a replacement for the registered participant.
