Trainer Merve Ayvacıoğlu
Merve Ayvacıoğlu graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Istanbul University.
Following an internship at Deutsche Bank in Germany, she worked at renowned companies in Türkiye between 1994 and 2006, including Şahinler Holding, Alstom Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş., and Menarini-İ.E. Ulagay İlaç A.Ş. During this time, she was also involved in ERP projects such as BaaN and JDE.
Throughout her professional career, she experienced German-French and Turkish-Italian corporate mergers firsthand. This gave her valuable insights into the challenges of integrating different corporate cultures, as well as the dynamics between managers and employees. Over the course of her 13-year corporate career, she also personally experienced the uncertainties and concerns that organizational changes and new structures can create for employees.
She further developed her practical experience in occupational and organizational psychology through a Master’s degree in Management and Work Psychology at Marmara University. Her master’s thesis focused on “Creativity in Organizations”, and she has also published academic articles. In 2007, she founded the Shuan Personal Development Workshop.
Today, Merve Ayvacıoğlu provides training and coaching to companies across various sectors in Türkiye, focusing on Creative Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Motivation, Communication, and Stress Management.
She speaks German and English and is currently learning Spanish. A curious researcher and lifelong learner, she is passionate about discovering new cultures and Latin dancing. She is also the mother of a son, Mert.
